Recommended Posts

Hi im new to this forum ,I enjoy reading all the treads as i love most aspects of lurcher and longdog work ,most of the discussions end up being locked when they slip into a slandering match .would it be possible for members to pick a dog each one IRISH and one ENGLISH that were honest dogs that no one can bullshit about :hmm: ????

The Irish Red Setter was a good dog, but got fukced up by the Kennel Club. Also, the English Bull Terrier was a good breed, but, alas, also got fuked up by the KC !! ;)

Well Nibs you and I hunted together over 30 years ago and for the benefit of members who may think you're a greenhorn, I have to say that you were one of the best hunting companions I ever had...never afraid to stick your arm up an earth...because you had the sense to read the situation...and never too egotistical to give an honest appraisal of another mans dog. We owned that mountain that Iceman now has dominion over and took fox, hare, rabbit, trout and hazelnuts off it before many of these kids were out of nappies. Good to hear from you, you old granda you!!
